Fr. Brian D. Chadwick was ordained a priest for the Diocese of Gary on Saturday, June 23, 2001. Fr. Brian is the oldest of Howard and Sharon Chadwick's three children and comes from Portage, where he was a member of Nativity of Our Savior Parish.

Fr. Brian graduated from Portage High School in 1992 and from Valparaiso University in 1996. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in philosophy. After graduating from college, he attended Sacred Heart Seminary in Detroit for a year of pre-theology. From there, he attended the North American College in Rome and graduated in June of 2001.

Fr. Brian's first priesthood assignment is as the Associate Pastor at Queen of All Saints in Michigan City.
