Eucharistic Holy Hour for Vocations

Monstrance Every First Friday, we invite you to gather in prayer at a Eucharistic Holy Hour. God continues to call young men and women to vocations as priests, deacons, brothers and sisters. Few respond to that call, however. The purpose of our First Friday Holy Hours is to pray for vocations to the priesthood and religious life. Prayer is a powerful tool.

As we gather around the Eucharistic Lord, we will celebrate Exposition and Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament as well as pray novena prayers, litanies and other prayers. Scripture readings and a homily are also a part of the Holy Hours.

This is an opportunity to take an hour away from the calls, cares and concerns of the world. I urge you to join us in these hours of prayer for vocations lest we, too, hear the words that Jesus spoke in the Garden of Gethsemani: "Couldn't you stay awake with me even for an hour? Come and spend an hour with the Lord.
