My name is Rev. Michael J. Yadron, more commonly referred to as Fr. Mike.   I am the pastor of Queen of All Saints Church in Michigan City, Indiana.   I am also the Director of the Deacon Formation Program for the Diocese of Gary as well as the chairperson of the Ministry Formation Program.

Upon receiving my M.Div. (Master's of Divinity) from St. Mary of the Lake Seminary, I was ordained a priest in May of 1983.   My first assignment was as an instructor at Bishop Noll Institute in Hammond, Indiana and as an Associate Pastor at St. John Bosco Church, also in Hammond.

In 1985, while continuing to teach at Bishop Noll, I was assigned as the chaplain of the Carmelite Home for Boys in Hammond.

At the end of that third school year, I was transferred to Holy Trinity Church in Gary as the administrator of the parish.   In December of that same year (1986), I was named the pastor of Holy Trinity Church.   I spent five years at Holy Trinity and then was sent to prison...

... AS A CHAPLAIN.   I was a chaplain at Indiana State Prison in Michigan City for three years before being assigned to St. Maria Goretti in Dyer, Indiana in July of 1994.

It was at St. Maria Goretti that I -- already a confirmed computer addict, bbs junkie (I ran "Lighthouse BBS" for 10 years) and beta software tester (Telegard, Blue Wave, The SemWare Editor) -- became a serious internet junkie as well.   I was amazed at the amount of information available to us on "the net".

On July 1, 1996, I came to Queen of All Saints as pastor and began to explore the possibility of web pages. Since then, I have put much parish and school information on our web site. I am always looking for new ideas.   Email me if you have any suggestions for these web pages.   Thanks for taking the time to read this!

KofCAs a 4th Degreee member of the Knights of Columbus, I highly encourage you to check out our Knights of Columbus information if you have not already done so.
